Praise God for the good crop yields in many parts of the CBM food security projects in Africa during the last cropping season (October-December). Many farmers are grateful for the adequate food from last season, however please continue to pray for adequate rains for the ongoing March/April rainy season. The countries on the eastern and southern side of the African continent, which includes Kenya, “are suffering from record-breaking temperatures that are killing crops, cattle and people. In all, some 36 million people in eastern and southern Africa are at risk,” according to The Globe and Mail.

Please pray for farming communities and families, that they may have enough food to sustain them into the next season. As well, please remember to pray for the health and energy of Ruth Munyao, CBM’s Senior Food Security Specialist in Africa, who oversees many of these food projects through our partners.
