Angola
There’s good news and bad news this week from Dorothy Sowden. The bad news is that her house has been broken into on two separate occasions recently, with a computer being stolen each time. Dorothy has extensive teaching responsibilities, so being without a computer leaves her in a very difficult position.   Also, Dorothy lives alone, so having her house broken into must be very disconcerting to say the least. The good news? One of the computers was returned by the mother of the boy who stole it, and although we don’t know the whole story as yet, we heard just today that the other computer has also been returned. We praise God for His sovereign hand and pray that He will afford Dorothy the opportunity to personally extend forgiveness to those who treated her so badly.

Canada/Lebanon
Praise God that Rupen Das has received his residence visa and is now back in Lebanon.   Mamta’s visa however, hasn’t had quite such a smooth journey, but with her daughter needing care following a recent illness, perhaps God in His wisdom and mercy has allowed Mamta to remain in Canada until her daughter’s recuperation is complete.

Haiti
With constant exposure in newspapers and on the TV, sometimes it seems as if all we hear about is Haiti, but we mustn’t forget that such devastation, not to mention trauma and injury, does not heal itself overnight and Haiti is going to be re-grouping, re-building and re-structuring for many years to come. Please continue to pray for those who remain alive in and around Port au Prince. Pray that the believers in their midst will show them the love and care of the Saviour they serve.
