Good Works.
Small Business. Big Change.
Eighty percent of people in the world have no access to credit – mostly people in developing countries who would do almost anything to work their way out of poverty and hunger. They don’t want handouts; they simply want to be able to provide for their families. They’re hardworking and industrious, and many have entrepreneurial instincts, but there are no jobs available and they don’t have the resources to start small businesses.
That’s where microcredit comes in. Through microcredit programs, The Sharing Way, CBM’s relief and development ministry, provides small loans to hardworking individuals who want to start small businesses but have no access to traditional banks.
This year, The Sharing Way Annual Project focuses on microcredit programs in Bolivia, India and Kenya.
The following resources will assist you as you promote The Sharing Way Annual Project and bring attention to the issue of microcredit and the impact that small loans can have on a community.
