China

• CBM partnered in Chengdu to help create the Christianity Research Centre at Sichuan University.  Currently, we also working with the Evangelical Community Church in Hong Kong.
   

India

• Through our National Field Staff in India, CBM is able to implement a number of sustainable community development programs through The Sharing Way, as well as train young leaders for ministry. The focus of these programs include a program to bring children out of the labor force, agricultural training, literacy centres, health care including HIV and AIDS education, as well as theological training, workshops and women’s programs. (India is a STEP Country)
   

Indonesia

• There is a long and valued partnership between the KGBI (Baptist Convention of Indonesia) and CBM that sprang from an invitation to join the existing work of the KGBI in the areas of church planting, teaching (seminary) and evangelism. The Sharing Way has also responded on behalf of Canadian Baptists to various disasters (i.e. earthquakes, floods and Tsunami) and continues to encourage and help strengthen the KGBI in the area of community development looking towards agricultural training in the future.
