Hunger for Change

“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:

to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?”

Isaiah 58:6

Rising food and fuel prices will push over one billion people into famine or malnutrition this year. Hunger is on the rise and Christ calls us to step up and loose the chains of injustice.

Did you know that microcredit plays an important role in reducing poverty? Many of the world’s poorest people have entrepreneurial instincts and work long hours with few resources – yet their ideas for small businesses remain impossible dreams.

The Sharing Way (TSW), CBM’s relief and development department, is working with people to achieve their dreams of a better life. This year, TSW Annual Project focuses on microcredit in Angola, Bolivia, India, Kenya and Rwanda.

The following resources will assist you as you promote The Sharing Way Annual Project.
