Bolivia
- The Bolivian Baptist Union (UBB) is made of over 250 churches and a similar number of church plants. The vision of the UBB is to grow healthy churches with a commitment to integral mission – seeking to become channels for the transformation of individuals and communities. Our partners strive to do so in spite of the challenging context of poverty, corruption and inequality. Well trained pastors are desperately needed to disciple the growing church in Bolivia.
The UBB’s ministry in Bolivia includes social concerns such as sustainable community development, education and health care. It has been particularly effective in reaching out to places where the government has been unable to provide medical care. (Bolivia is a STEP Country)
Brazil
- CBM currently has Global Field Staff teaching undergraduate programs at the Ana Wollerman Baptist Seminary in Dourados. Through The Sharing Way, ministry to street youth takes place aimed at addressing issues of drug addiction, criminal activity and lifestyles to help them to become productive individuals in society. This program evolved over time to become the Free Flight Association.
El Salvador
- Our partner in El Salvador is Iglesia Bautista Emmanuel. A member of the Baptist Federation of El Salvador, Emmanuel was founded in 1964. With only around 100 members, Emmanuel is not a large church. However, Emmanuel is best described as a movement of a mother church, its mission congregations, development programs and relationships with the larger Christian constituency of El Salvador.
