Carmin MacMillan
CBM Manger of Strategic Projects
Carmin manages new projects and programs in the area of Global Discipleship at CBM. She works with the CBM Youth team to help network and promote their initiatives (like the BWA Youth Congress), as well as explore opportunities for ministry with CBM’s partners around the world - such the short-term mission program. Carmin leads short-term mission workshops at events like Springforth, and enjoys working alongside other youth & youth leaders at events like SERVE & Blizzard.

Tim McCoy
Director of Youth Ministries, Canadian Baptists of Ontario & Quebec
Tim has a heart for youth ministry that stems from 16 years of youth ministry experience (11 years in the same church) in Charlotte, North Carolina. Tim served at Independence Hill Baptist Church in Charlotte as Pastor of Students and Leadership before moving to Ontario in April of 2006.
Tim’s recent passion has become relational leadership development with youth pastors and youth leaders. Tim’s consultant work with the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, the Carolina Youth Commission and his life-coaching ministry, Top Shelf, allowed him the opportunity to coach and mentor youth pastors/youth workers and encourage them as they fulfill their calling in ministry. Tim attended university at Mars Hill College in Asheville, North Carolina and graduate school at Pfeiffer University in Charlotte. He currently serves the churches and youth pastors/workers of the Baptist Convention of Ontario and Quebec as they serve today’s youth.
Tim has been married to Julie for 17 years. Tim & Julie have three teenage children. Tim’s family loves camping, hiking, RV road trips, and “Dress-up Dinners” (ask him about it!).

Dale Stairs
Director of Youth & Family Ministries, Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches
Dale currently serves as Director of Youth and Family for the Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches. He has served in this department since 2005. Before that he served as Associate Pastor in Quispamsis, New Brunswick for seven years, and pastored in Nova Scotia while completing a Master of Divinity at Acadia Divinity College (ADC). He has also worked with youth in a variety of other churches and camps.
In addition to overseeing the Youth and Family department, Dale is the director of the youth ministry program at ADC, and regularly teaches in a variety of settings in the areas of youth and family ministry. He lives near Saint John, New Brunswick with his wife Twila and their three sons.

Brent Weick
Associate Pastor, New Westminster, BC
Canadian Baptists of Western Canada Regional Coordinator (Lower Mainland , BC)
Growing up in Japan as a Missionary and Pastor’s kid, Brent has developed a heart for ministry and finds great joy in equipping youth, young adults and youth workers. Over the past 14 years in ministry Brent has been a part of many ventures including starting a Christian production company (Milk and Honey Productions), leading youth conferences and retreats (most recently RUSH and TRANSFORMERS in BC) and speaking at various youth workshops.
Brent is the Associate Pastor at Olivet Baptist Church in the Vancouver area. Before that, he served in two churches in Edmonton as Associate Pastor and Youth Pastor. He currently volunteers as Regional Coordinator for CBWest and also serves on the CBM Youth team. Brent has been married to Grace for 14 years and they have two children, Taelor and Parker. As a family they love camping, game/movie nights and road trips. Brent loves garage sales, movies, hanging with friends over a campfire and snowboarding!

Jodi Linkletter
Associate Director of Youth & Family, Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches
Jody has a heart to see young people come to know the Lord, and grow in their relationship with Him. Born and raised in the Maritimes, she has a heart for ministry both in this region and beyond. With a rich history of working at camps, churches, serving on the Sharing Way working group, and a variety of cross-cultural experiences, she has developed a deep passion to connect, encourage, and equip youth, youth leaders and their families in order to make a difference in their lives. She is currently serving as the Associate Director of Youth and Family Ministries for the Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches and is currently working on her PhD through the UK, where she is examining the role that family and personality play in regards to the spirituality of youth. Through these studies she has developed a passion and desire to equip families and encourage them in their journey as they seek to raise youth who love and walk with the Lord.
She currently resides in Truro with her husband Micah, who is a youth pastor at Immanuel Baptist Church.

Rev. Alvin Lau
Manager of Youth Ministries, Canadian Baptists of Ontario & Quebec
Alvin has been involved in different ministries since his baptism at the age of 16. He has been involved as a student leader in high school ministry, in university campus ministry during his undergrad, and a youth counsellor to jr. high and high school ministries. He's completed a BA Psychology (University of Western Ontario) and M.Div. Youth and Family Ministries (Tyndale College and Seminary). He served as a pastor-in-training at Brampton Chinese Baptist Church for 1 year before joining the Baptist Convention of Ontario and Quebec. As Manager of Youth Ministries, Alvin oversees the operations of BCOQ Youth and supports BCOQ churches in a variety of ways (from mentorship, church consultations, resource brokering and speaking engagements). Alvin attends Mimico Baptist Church with his wife, Natalie, and their two children.
