With food inflation in South Sudan hitting a record high of 850 percent this August, people are continuing to starve.  The world’s youngest country is suffering from chronic food shortages and hyper-inflation, in addition to three years of conflict, as shared by CBM Africa Team Leaders, the Kennys. In some isolated areas, food prices have increased 1,000 percent above prices of five years ago. Today there are approximately 4.3 million people in need of urgent help. Please pray that enough support would flow in so that resources can continue to be mobilized, bringing urgent food and emergency relief kits to displaced families through our partner churches in South Sudan.
