The category-four storm that swept through Haiti has wiped out entire towns, villages, crop reserves and farms in the country, killing at least 900 people and leaving 1.4 million people in need of urgent assistance at this time. There is major risk of famine, and a cholera outbreak which has killed nearly 10,000 people. Over 500,000 children have been affected, according to BBC News. CBM is responding to the destruction caused by Hurricane Matthew through the Baptist Relief and Development Network, by providing immediate aid. Please pray over the great loss and destruction from the storm, and for all those that have been impacted by it. Pray for safety, protection, provision & health.
