Mississauga, Ontario – Canadian Baptist Ministries (CBM) is pleased to announce the appointment of Rev. Sonya Tetley to the position of Regional Representative, Central Region effective February 10, 2020.
Sonya’s role is to strengthen existing relationships and create new connections with churches in Ontario and Quebec. Her ministry includes fuelling the church’s passion for integral mission through CBM’s programs and engagement in strategic partnerships.
Sonya will be a resource for churches as they respond to God’s call for global mission. She has significant mission and pastoral experience, working with both local churches and leading global mission opportunities to serve marginalized people. Prior to joining CBM, Sonya and her husband Jordan served in East Asia as missionaries for over a decade. Upon her return to Canada in 2016, she served as the Children’s Pastor at Mississauga Chinese Baptist Church in Ontario.

Her heart for the marginalized and passion for the gospel will be an asset as she invites the Canadian church to engage meaningfully in global mission.”
