Word&Deed Newsletter – February 2025

Greetings,

The beginning of the year can be a busy time, full of transition. I have been busy at work journeying with our partners in Africa as we are preparing and planning for 2025. With many project proposals and agreements being finalized in response to the many needs in those regions, I have had a lot on my mind.

One of those things has been reflecting on the heaviness in the world, specifically, the situation in the DR Congo. Amidst the conflict in the eastern region, the humanitarian situation is dire. We are fervently praying for our staff and partners who serve there.

So, I invite you to let the weight of the world be your call to prayer – let it be a reminder to seek God’s face and bring your heavy heart to him.

Join me in praying for God’s divine peace to descend upon the warring factions, that the violence may cease, and hearts be softened with compassion.
