April 2026

Greetings,

In these days following Easter, we continue to carry the echoes of Holy Week with us, a journey that draws us again into the heart of God’s love for the world.

We have walked once more from celebration to sorrow to hope: from the joy of Palm Sunday, to the humility of Maundy Thursday, to the grief of Good Friday, and the stillness of Holy Saturday. And now, we live in the light of Resurrection Sunday.

Easter reminds us that even in a world marked by pain, uncertainty, and loss, hope is alive. In the risen Jesus Christ, we are assured that suffering is not the end, death does not have the final word, and God is still at work bringing renewal and new life.

Across the global Church, we continue to see signs of that resurrection hope in quiet and courageous ways. In communities facing hardship and need, faithful presence, compassionate service, and lives being transformed in Christ bear witness to God’s ongoing work in the world.

As you read this month’s updates, we pray you will be encouraged by the ways God is moving through his people around the world. And in this season after Easter, may we all continue to live as resurrection people – bearing witness, in word and deed, to the hope we have in Christ.

With resurrection hope,

CBM’s Communications Team
