More from Joseph

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Peace be with you in the Lord.

Thank you for your faithful partnership. In the love of Christ, we can work together for the advancement of the gospel. With a grateful heart, I would like to share some of the wonderful works the Lord has accomplished in Thailand and Myanmar over the past few months.

Ministry Updates

Integral Mission Workshops – From January to March, we conducted four Integral Mission seminars and forums in Thailand and Myanmar, serving a total of 95 church leaders and believers. These gatherings aim to mobilize local churches to become truly “missional churches.” To bridge language barriers, sessions were delivered in Mandarin and Burmese, with simultaneous translation into Thai and Wa. We look forward to hosting four more workshops across Myanmar and Thailand in May and June.

Thailand Bethel Theological Institute – On March 20, Thailand Bethel Theological Institute (TBTI) held its graduation ceremony, where 23 students completed their training and were sent out to serve in various fields across Thailand and Myanmar. Following the graduation, from March 2330, faculty and students participated in an evangelistic mission trip. I had the privilege of leading a team into the Wa District in Myanmar, where we partnered with local churches to conduct Easter training, organize a camp, and share the gospel within the community. We thank the Lord for his protection and guidance, enabling us to carry out the mission smoothly despite the challenging environment, and to faithfully bear witness to his name.

Paradise Farm Initiative – Our new 2026 project, the Myanmar Paradise Home Pig-Farming Initiative, seeks to support underprivileged children by providing access to education and livelihood skills. As Pastor Bosi and his wife, the project directors, shared:

Education is not merely the transfer of knowledge, but the cultivation of a child’s ability to become self-reliant—building confidence through diligence and nurturing holistic growth in body, mind, and spirit.

Thank you for your continued prayers and partnership in the mission work across Thailand and Myanmar. We desire to be faithful stewards of God’s grace through every resource entrusted to us.No matter how circumstances may change, may we all remain faithful to his eternal calling in the places he has assigned us.

Prayer Requests

  1. For Environment and HealthFrom March to April each year, severe smog in the border regions of Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos becomes a critical crisis, leading to widespread respiratory illness. Please pray that God will grant wisdom and unity to the leaders of these nations, enabling effective cooperation to address pollution and protect the environment.
  2. For the Mission VisionPray that the upcoming four Integral Mission Workshops will ignite a broader movement, inspiring more churches to actively participate in God’s mission. Also pray for safety and smooth travel for our teams throughout Thailand and Myanmar in May and June, and that each training session will be a blessing to the local churches.
  3. For Theological EducationThe seminary is currently on break and in a crucial season of student recruitment. Pray that, even amid instability, the Lord will call and raise up individuals who are willing to be equipped for His service at TBTI. Pray also for unity among the faculty, as they seek to train disciples who are grounded in truth and empowered to serve Christ in this generation.

May the Lord richly bless you.

Your mission partner,

Joseph Lee
