Greetings Brothers and Sisters,

In this season, we’re reminded that the Church is not simply something we belong to—it is something God is building. Across Canada and around the world, God is at work, inviting participation in quiet yet meaningful ways.

This month, that invitation is taking shape in two particular expressions. Through the Build the Church spring appeal, communities are being strengthened as they grow in witness and resilience. At the same time, churches are moving through Active in Mission, discerning how to respond to needs around them, including challenges like food insecurity.

Though these expressions differ, they share the same foundation: God at work—strengthening communities, meeting practical needs, and bearing witness to the hope we have in Christ. As these invitations unfold, we are drawn in, responding as the Spirit leads.

As you read this month’s updates, may you be encouraged by these glimpses of God at work, and attentive to the ways his invitation is being revealed in your own context.
