Greetings to you all in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We thank you all for your prayers and financial support to bring transformation in the lives of many in India. Many people are getting benefitted through our programs and living a dignified life in the society.
SBCMS ANNUAL CONFERENCE:
The 75th Annual conference of the SBCMS was held at Dantarinala village, Balivada area from 15th to 17th February 2025. Nearly 120,000 people gathered in this conference. The CBM Board President Rev. Mike, Board Members Rev. Guy, Dr. Cynthia and the Sr. Finance Director Mr. Rob participated and conveyed greetings on this occasion. I did preach in this conference on the theme “Remember who redeemed you” Psalms 78:42.
KUI BAPTIST ASSOCIATION ANNUAL CONFERENCE:
The 47th Annual conference of Kui Baptist Association was held at Sundardang village on 9 and 10 March 2025. Nearly 20,000 people were gathered on this occasion. I have attended as speaker and preached on the occasion. The theme that was given to me was 1 Peter 2: 5a.
Widows Emancipation Programs (ABC):
The widows’ emancipation program is going on well and widows from four churches this year benefitted by this program. This project is managed by the Women Ministry of the respective partnering churches, the steward committee alongside the women pastor of the women ministry is involved in the implementation of the program. They identified the beneficiaries and interacting with them, listened their stories and started helping them to sustain financially through income generating activities and to live a dignified life in the society without any stigma.
Lost but Found:
Shalom Tribal Trust under the leadership of Dr. Rev. Temsu is working among the prisoners. They are trying to bring transformation among prisoners in Mokokchung District jail where the convicted and non-convicted (under trials) are in prison. The communities are at present excommunicating the criminals and their families. The Shalom Tribal Society is working towards an inclusive community. They have conducted Bible study and Life transformation camp for prisoners from 3-9 February 2025, conducted awareness camp cum seminar for jail authorities from 5th-6th February 2025 and doing follow up programs.
Recovery support for Alcoholics:
The Shalom Tribal Trust is working to bring Transformation in Alcohol affected/Substance abusers. The main goal of the project is to participate in the Mission of God by involving in real life situation of the people and transform their lives and family-in order to experience the love of Christ and help them to live a fuller life. According to 2011 census the Ao Naga population was 1,94,622. Among the Ao Naga community/ church alcoholism and substance abusers is a major problem. It has been found that Alcoholism is becoming a major problem in Mokokchung District. It is not limited to men alone but even women are also becoming victims of Alcoholism. And as result, various issues like divorce, untimely death, financial crises, accidents and health problems have alarmingly appeared in the society. To bring transformation in the society timely and proper intervention is needed before it ruins the society beyond repair. Hence the Shalom Tribal Trust started working towards formation of healthy societies.
Empowerment of Youth through Sports (CBC):
Empowerment of youth through sports program is going on well. Boys and Girls are actively participating and acquiring skills in football. Twenty-three boys and seventeen girls have enrolled in football training. They learned skills like kicking the ball, ball controlling, running, ball passing, spot kicking etc. They are constantly practicing the skills that they learned at the training. Most of them improved the technics.
Job skills training for youth (BCM):
The Skills Development Training project has been making remarkable progress, yielding overwhelmingly positive outcomes for all beneficiaries across various skill training areas. Youth are undergoing skills training like tailoring, beauty and wellness, computer, bakery and aluminum and steel fabrication and acquiring skills and knowledge. Most of the girls are now settled in different places and working in different units and some have started their own units. Now BCM has started their own Aluminum and Steel fabrication unit on their own to generate income and to continue the ongoing programs till they meet the needs in society.
Job Skills Training for Vulnerable Women:
Samaritan Home is a women’s wing of WSBAK. The main aim of this project is ‘Building Hope for Life” They are providing the skills training to the vulnerable women in the surrounding societies. This project has addressed the problem of both rural and urban women in the community/region and empowered women through spiritual nurturing, counselling and vocational skills trainings. The activities undertaken by this project have strengthened stronger relationship within the community/ region, as the participants have also played an active role in their own community after their training by helping the community with their skills.
Job Skills Training for Victims of Human Trafficking:
Miqlat is the women’s Department of the Nagaland Baptist Churches Council. They are giving hope and life through vocational trainings to the girls and women are victims of Human Trafficking. The Ministry is constructing a Multipurpose building to run a Café and trainings like beautician, bakery etc., At present, the construction is still going on and it will take about another two months to fully furnish the Café and the other units.
Empowerment of Kui Girls:
The Kui Baptist Association provided residence to stay and study for the KUI girls who are neglected in the society. At present forty-eight girls are staying in the premises and going to the schools. Providing tutoring and nutritious food to all the 48 girls in the morning and evening. All are studying well and showing improvement in studies.
Integral Mission Workshops:
Conducted workshop for Miqlat ministries on 20th February 2025 at Dimpaur. The CBM Board Members and Senior Finance Director attended as resource persons and gave lectures on Integral Mission. Conducted workshop for Kui Baptist Association youth on 26 and 27 March 2025 at Visakhapatnam. Nearly 42 students from 40 churches attended the workshop. The resource persons were Dr. Suraj and C P Raju. The topic was Integral Mission. The students acquired the knowledge on Integral Mission and are sharing the knowledge with others.
Arunachal Baptist Church Council:
Arunachal Baptist Church Council is doing fish farming to provide scholarships to the youth studying Theology and other allied health professionals in their villages. They dug four fishponds, and 160 Kg’s Fish Seed is released in the ponds. The caretaker is giving the fish seed and taking care of the ponds.

- Pray for the Project Management Training program going to be held from 15th to 19th September and from 20th to 25th October 2025.
- Pray for the Partner Capacity Building cum exposure visit going to be held from 27-29 October 2025.
- Pray for the workshop going to be held on Integral Mission at Dimapur on 20th September 2025.
- Pray for my ministerial support so that I could continue to serve through CBM in India.
- Pray for safety during monitoring visits to the partners.
