In the fertile Maritime and Plateau regions of Togo, many families depend on agriculture for their livelihoods. But because of traditional farming techniques, crop yields have been declining year after year, leaving households more vulnerable to food insecurity.
Through this project, the Convention Baptiste du Togo is training farmers to practice conservation agriculture. By learning climate-smart techniques such as mulching, composting, and minimal tillage, families can restore soil health, increase harvests, and protect their land for the future.
