- Dominican Republic – IB Los Cocos Youth Ministry
Pray for Kathryn as she teaches weekly English classes for youth at IB Los Cocos this summer. Ask God to encourage the students, strengthen relationships, and use these opportunities to point young people toward Christ.
- Ebola Outbreak – Democratic Republic of the Congo
Pray for God’s mercy to bring an end to the Ebola outbreak in rural communities of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Pray for those affected, increased access to medical care, and wisdom as communities face ongoing challenges.

Oasis 2026
Pray for Atlantic Baptist churches gathering in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, for Oasis 2026 happening August 6th to 8th. May God’s Spirit be at work throughout the gathering, bringing encouragement, meaningful conversations, and a deep sense of peace.
- India – Miqlat Ministry
Pray for the Miqlat leadership team as they support women experiencing domestic violence, provide education support for children, expand opportunities to sell handicrafts, and continue developing the café ministry. Ask God to provide wisdom, good health, unity, and the resources needed for this work.
- Philipp and Xiaodan
Pray for Xiaodan and Philipp during their time abroad through the end of the year. Pray for Xiaodan as she completes online studies in Clinical Counseling and for Philipp as he undertakes intensive language training. Ask God to guide and encourage them throughout this season.
- Lebanon – Displaced Families & Churches
Pray for families from southern villages in Lebanon who are still waiting to return to their homes and businesses, and for churches as they continue supporting communities affected by the recent conflict. Ask God to provide hope, wisdom, strength, and endurance as they respond to ongoing needs.
- Germany – Co-workers Training Camp
Pray for the German-wide Co-workers Training Camp taking place early August. Ask God to renew and equip church leaders, and pray for wisdom and strength for Lewis and Felain as they mentor and encourage leaders from across Germany.

- India – Shalom Tribal Trust
Pray for the 10 beneficiaries preparing to begin the income-generating program and for the 20 individuals who completed the recent detox camp. Ask God to continue transforming their lives, strengthening their faith in Christ, restoring families, and helping them move forward with hope.

Pray for the SENT teams serving with CBM partners this month. Pray especially for the team from Whyte Ridge Baptist Church travelling to Bolivia and the teams from McLaurin Baptist Church (Grande Prairie) and Webster Baptist Church (Alberta) serving in Rwanda. Ask God to bless their ministry, strengthen partnerships, and deepen the faith of everyone involved.
- Guatemala – Partner Training with Fabiola
Pray for the training session with partners in Guatemala led by Fabiola mid August. Ask God to guide the preparation, encourage participants, and use this time to strengthen ministry partnerships.

Pray for wisdom and guidance in the new role as Alumni Engagement Supervisor at ABTS. Ask God to provide strength and discernment through the blessings, challenges, and changes that come with this new responsibility.

Pray for Lewis and Felain as they continue serving through expanded preaching, pastoral care, and leadership responsibilities across Göttingen, Kassel, and Marburg. Ask God to provide strength, wisdom, and sustaining grace.
- Regional Partnerships – Kazakhstan, Philippines, Thailand, Myanmar & Nepal
Pray for CBM partners across Asia as they strengthen youth ministry, train missionaries, equip church leaders, develop sustainable projects, seek suitable staff for Thailand and Myanmar, and begin new work with the Nepal Baptist Church Council. Ask God to provide wisdom and fruitful ministry throughout the region.
- Guatemala and Bolivia
Pray for Byron’s father as he faces significant health challenges. Ask God to bring healing, strength, and comfort to him and his family during this time. Pray also for Tim & Kallie as they prepare to be conference speakers at a missions conference hosted by our local partners in Bolivia.
- India – Leadership Workshops
Pray for the upcoming leadership workshops happening end of the month in India, including the Deacons’ workshop at Serango, the theological students’ exposure visit to Odisha, and the Kui Baptist Association workshop. Ask God to equip leaders and students for faithful ministry.
- Canadian Churches
Pray for churches across Canada as they enter a new ministry season. Ask God to strengthen pastors, leaders, volunteers, and congregations as they continue sharing the hope of Christ in their communities.

Education Ministries – Lebanon & Egypt
Pray for teachers, staff, and students involved in CBM-supported education projects as they prepare for a new school year. Pray also for the Sudanese church in Egypt as they implement a new project to prepare the children’s center before the upcoming academic season. Ask God to bless these ministries and all those involved.

Dominican Republic – JUBAREDO Young Adult Camp & Guatemala/El Salvador Training
Pray for Kathryn as she leads a workshop at JUBAREDO’s Young Adult Camp late August. Pray also for preparations for Bill’s September discipleship training events in Guatemala and El Salvador, asking God to use these opportunities to strengthen leaders and foster lasting discipleship.
- Rome, Italy – Quiet Time Bible Reading Camp
Give thanks for God’s work through the “Quiet Time” Bible Reading Camp in Rome, where participants gathered to study Scripture and grow in faith. Pray that the truths learned would take deep root and nurture a deeper love for God’s Word.
