OVERVIEW
Rwanda is a nation working to heal from a traumatic past of genocide. Currently the most densely populated country in mainland Africa, close to half of the population is under the age of 14 years. Despite remarkable progress towards good governance and helping the poor, poverty remains one of the main issues affecting nearly half of the population.
