This spring, we invited you to come alongside churches in Bolivia as they strengthened their congregations and served their communities in practical, locally led ways.

You responded generously.

Together, donors like you gave $45,000 toward the Stronger Churches, Stronger Communities initiatives.

By the end of June, 23 proposals had been submitted and 13 local church initiatives approved.

Your generosity is helping churches respond to opportunities they see within their own communities with creativity, compassion and faith.

Churches are able to continue ministries that meet real needs while creating opportunities for relationship, prayer and deeper connection.

Strengthening local churches
As churches serve their neighbours, their own congregations are strengthened in faith, participation and witness.
In the words of local church leader Ruth Abigail, Children’s Leader at Emmanuel Baptist Church:

“People who don’t know the Lord come and see that he cares for them. And as we serve, our own commitment to the Lord is strengthened — we see God inviting us into his purposes.”
