About Suraj Komaravalli

Suraj joined CBM’s India Strategy team in 2008 as a Theological Education Consultant. Since 2013, he serves as Team Leader for CBM’s ministries in India, helping develop integral mission strategies in CBM’s priority areas of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Assam, and Nagaland. He manages CBM’s partnerships and ministries, sharing the good news while initiating new local congregations. Suraj is committed to shaping a more contemporary and contextual approach to church-based transformational ministry in India.

Since 1995, Suraj has been a lecturer and teacher at several colleges and universities for New Testament and other theological subjects. He has a Bachelor of Science from Calcutta University, a Bachelor of Divinity from Serampore College, a Master of Theology from United Theological College, and a Doctor of Philosophy in New Testament from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.

Suraj lives in Hyderabad with his wife Prasanna, and two daughters, Selina and Mounica.
