Conflict in Ukraine

The Baptist Union of Ukraine is asking churches around the world to pray for their country, which is now under martial law following the armed conflict between Russia and Ukraine that erupted in the Black Sea on Sunday, November 25. The Ukrainian navy reports that three of its vessels were seized and sailors were injured during the attack. “The situation is very serious,” says information from the Baptist Union of Ukraine. Adding that martial law will change many things in their daily lives, the union warns that “a bigger war is now more possible than ever before.” Please join us in praying for our Baptist brothers and sisters in Ukraine during this challenging time. We pray that God would comfort and encourage all those affected, and that peace would be established in Ukraine.
