With Faith, Hope and Love CBM works strategically alongside a network of partners in 14 countries, addressing issues associated with Poverty, Justice, Kids at Risk, Building the Church and Crisis Response.
We are presently seeking a Coordinator, Youth and Young Adult Engagement to assist in the development of global discipleship initiatives specific to youth and young adults.
This role is a remote role and is part-time at 8 hours per week. The position will require travel, both regionally and nationally, as well as attendance at events on weekends.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Assist in the development of global discipleship initiatives specific to youth and young adults
- creation of global discipleship curriculum for camping ministries and training of camp leaders
- fundraising initiatives,
- special projects, etc.
- Connect with youth pastors/leaders across Canada educating them on CBM/SENT materials available for global discipleship with youth; develop additional resources as needed.
- Explore and implement partnership opportunities with regional youth events such as ONE Conference, Blizzard/Avalanche, Tidal Impact and SERVE.
- Represent CBM on Canadian Baptist Youth Team
Skills & Knowledge Required:

- Willing to sign off on CBM’s Code of Conduct
- Demonstrates initiative
- Ability to prioritize own work within departmental items
- Familiar with Canadian Baptist Constituency an asset
- Well-organized and process-oriented thinker; attention to detail
- Exposure to, and understanding of, cross cultural issues
- Experience in youth and/or young adult ministry
- Professional presentation/speaking skills
- Must have a valid drivers license
