FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
October 16, 2020

Mississauga, Ontario –  Canadian Baptist Ministries (CBM) announces the departure of Global Field Staff David and Suzannah Nacho effective January 15, 2021.

David and Suzannah are among CBM’s longest serving Field Staff, having worked with CBM for over 12 years. Their ministry experience in El Salvador, Argentina, Bolivia and Costa Rica includes serving with youth at risk, community development, mentoring & leadership development, theological education and curriculum development.

In 2016, the Nachos relocated to Costa Rica with their three children to work with CETI (Center for Interdisciplinary Theological Studies). David served as the academic dean and professor for CETI, making the program accessible, contextual, relevant and paradigm-shifting for students and faculty, while also teaching courses at CETI alongside Suzannah.

CBM expresses its gratitude for the commitment and expertise the Nachos have brought to their ministry, which has had local, regional and global impact.

The Nachos will be returning to Canada in December 2020, as David will be assuming a pastoral role at First Baptist Church in Vancouver starting in the new year. CBM wishes many blessings upon the Nacho family and their next steps.
