Finding Wisdom

Part I: Healing Through Suffering

Senior Associate for Theological Integration Jonathan Wilson shows us to turn to God’s wisdom in the process of healing through trauma and loss. As we look at the story of Job, we are reminded that God is in charge – he is just, but also merciful and full of grace.

Part II: Justice in Exile

Sometimes, being in a spiritual season of exile – losing everything that’s familiar, losing control of our lives – gives us the impression that we’ve lost life’s meaning, that God has abandoned us. This, in turn develops apathy – hopelessness – which then makes us even more vulnerable to temptations that lead us away from God. Senior Associate for Theological Integration Jonathan Wilson teaches us how to live in exile wisely, with the reminder that even in unfamiliar, disorienting times and places, God is with us and teaching us.

Part III: Revelation in the Apocalypse

In this series, Senior Associate for Theological Integration Jonathan Wilson addresses the recent events that have unfolded – the injustice of George Floyd. He talks about the apocalypse as an unearthing of the ugly realities in our world and the reassurance that it is only God who can battle this. God has, in fact, already won that war. But, we must take part in that revelation. We must not be silent nor inactive. We can and must participate in God’s redemption of the world.
