The monsoon season has battered South Asia and continues to displace countless people in the region. CBM Field Staff reported that floods have devastated many families in the Biswanath Charali District, Assam. Many houses and churches were damaged and livelihood is threatened due to loss of crops, fishing access and small ruminants. Although water has receded in many flood affected areas, the damage caused to crop and fishing continues to impact sources of income. Recovery could possibly take months while some areas such as Gophur continue to experience flooding. Please pray for our Field Staff and partners in India, as they strive to provide assistance and support to those affected. Pray for their safety and for provision.
