Our home of Lebanon continues to face multiple converging crises – severe financial instability, COVID-19, and the lingering impact of the August 4, 2020, Beirut port explosion – all of which have come on top of the Syrian refugee crisis and have contributed to high levels of food insecurity, unemployment, and hyperinflation across the country.

Our team continues to respond to the growing needs of the region through a number of relief and development projects. However, even with the severe crises, Lebanon continues to be a strategic gateway for ministry in the MENA region, and crises continue to open up new opportunities for sharing the Gospel message with people in despair and deep need.

Developing church leaders for the region who can lead their church communities into Christ-like response to the needs of the society is a high priority. God is using these times to draw people to himself in high numbers from people groups that have been resistant to the Gospel message for centuries.
