Mississauga, Ontario – Canadian Baptist Ministries (CBM) announces the relocation of Chinese Ministries Team Leaders Conrad and Fiona Kwok from Thailand to Canada, as of April 2021. The Kwoks have been serving as CBM Field Staff based in Thailand since 2013 and were appointed as the Chinese Ministries Team Leaders in 2018. They will continue with their full responsibilities as Team Leaders while based in Toronto.
CBM’s ongoing partnership with Thailand Bethel Theological Institute (TBTI) will carry on under the leadership of the Kwoks, with support from Lilian Yang, CBM National Field Staff in Thailand.
The Chinese Ministries team includes ministries and staff in Germany, Thailand, Hong Kong and other parts of East Asia. As Team Leaders, Fiona and Conrad provide ongoing oversight and strategic direction to this work and help local churches develop an integral mission focus through ministry partners. Conrad and Fiona will continue to promote CBM’s Chinese Ministries globally and help shape its future directions.
