Lahu Village

“How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?“ Roman 10:14

At the beginning of May, Conrad had the opportunity to visit a couple of Lahu villages in Myanmar for 5 days. He went with a Lahu Pastor who has the vision to proclaim the Gospel to 100 Lahu villages in East Myanmar in the next ten years and make disciples for God’s Kingdom. The villages are far and up the mountain, with no electricity, no washrooms, limited water supply, no schools or doctors.

The Lahu pastor is also serving as a medical doctor to the villagers during his visit. Villagers line up to receive his medical care. Please pray for more workers willing to go.

During the trip, Conrad also has the opportunity to witness and baptize a number of brothers and sisters into God’s family. When Conrad returned, his legs were completely covered by what looked like to be insect bites. Mrs. Du, the principal’s wife asked him to put all his clothing and things (including the set he was wearing) under the sun to kill any living creatures that may be in his belongings, before carrying them up to our dormitory. What an adventure!!!
