Serving in the Golden Triangle Region
Lilian Yang was appointed to the position of National Field Staff in the Golden Triangle Region in July of 2019. This appointment comes in response to growing ministry opportunities and increased challenges in the region as well as flourishing interests in mission partnerships from Canadian churches.
Lilian’s role as National Field Staff in The Golden Triangle Region is to serve alongside Chinese Ministries Team Leaders Fiona and Conrad Kwok in serving CBM’s partners in the region. Her main duties are to equip local pastors and laypersons through Christian education/theological training in Bethel Bible Institute. She will assist local churches, organizations and seminaries to develop training ministry in sharing the Gospel and expanding community outreach. Lilian will also help manage existing projects while identifying new and potential opportunities, updating Canadian churches. She will also assist in arranging and scheduling SENT teams, working with them while they are on the field.
Previously, Lilian was in ministry in Thailand for several years, leading Bible study, preaching, translating and participating in children’s and women’s groups and served as lecturer at Bethel Bible Institute in Thailand. She received her Bachelor of Theology from Malaysia Baptist Theological Seminary, Bachelor of Arts – Major in English from Kyaing Tong College, Myanmar, Master of Arts – Major in Pastoral Ministry from Malaysia Baptist Theological Seminary and Master of Divinity from China Evangelical Seminary in Taiwan.

Lilian Yang Ministry Update Sept 2022
This year, Thailand opened up the country to welcome more tourists from all over the world. Airports have become busy, hotels have had more guests, and many shops and restaurants reopened. Schools are filled with students again, and churches hold in-person services. People are happy to be able to see each other again in person.

Hi, I am Lilian Yang. I am National Field Staff of CBM serving in the Golden Triangle. March is the month of graduation for schools and colleges in Thailand. Our mission partner TBTI has 35 graduates this year.
Support for Pastors and Bible School Students
The Support for Pastors and Bible School Students project helps gifted Bible leaders in the Golden Triangle region by providing them scholarships for continued education, assistance in church-planting, and support for workers in community services.
Minority Tribal Lahu Village Project
In partnership with CBM, Pastor Doudu is improving the living conditions in remote Lahu villages and shares the transforming power of the gospel. The project supports emerging Christian communities and establishes churches.

Yang Ministry Update October 2021
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, Greetings! As we step into this last season of the year, I thank God for his love and his protection. It is time to count his blessings and move forward by the strength that he has granted me. I would also like to thank all of you for being so supportive to me and my ministry.
