We are saddened to share the news that CBM alumni, Rev. Robert Malcolm passed away on November 24, 2019 at the age of 87 in Saint John, New Brunswick. Robert and his wife Margery served in Angola, Congo (Zaire) and Brazil for many years, and pastored in Bowness, AB, Montreal, QC and Fredericton, NB.

Robert, known to loved ones as Bob, had decided early on in life to dedicate himself to full-time ministry. His desire was “to reach the lost for Christ”. Bob’s term of service commenced in 1957 with language study in Portugal. He courageously carried out God’s work during the civil war in Angola, working with refugees, shepherding believers and teaching students alongside Margery.

We give thanks for the faithful service of Bob to CBM in furthering the work of God’s kingdom. Please join us in praying for Margery, their family and other loved ones during this difficult time.

“For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.” – Romans 6:5
