Pray with Gato Munyamasoko

I am Gato Corneil Munyamasoko and I serve as CBM’s Africa Peacebuilding and Reconciliation Specialist working in Rwanda, Congo, and South Sudan among CBM’s partners.

I want to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks and appreciation for your continuous prayer and faithful support of CBM. Please pray for the participants of our peacebuilding programs. May they actively seek peace and reconciliation as they interact with their neighbours and communities. Pray for the pastors and district leaders as they lead peacebuilding activities. Pray that God will continue to give our partners in various African countries strength and inspiration as they continue to serve in the midst of violence, poverty, and the pandemic.

Please use the list below to guide you in prayer.

Thank you for being a part of this ministry through your prayers and support.

May God bless you.

Prayer Points:

  • As we start the New year, pray for the 21 TOT’S (Trainers of trainees) who were trained on twelve modules of peace last year. May they be a catalyst for peace in the CEBCE denomination and outside the denomination. Pray that they will be effective as they go to train others and initiate activities of peace so that peace will grow and violence will end.
  • This year, we will train a total of 25 male and female pastors, district heads and denominational leaders in 12 modules on the topic of peace. Pray for their commitment and engagement to be used by God in influencing others to be ambassadors of peace.
  • Pray also for peace in North-Kivu, where the two partners of CBM in Congo (CEBCE-and CBCA) have begun collaborating to address the issue of ethnic violence and work for peace in the area.
  • Lift up South Sudan as CBM strengthens its peacebuilding work with our partner FEBAC. Pray that the program will bring mutual understanding and a desire for peace among the people of South Sudan.
