Pray with the Kwoks

Hi, I’m Conrad Kwok and I’m Fiona Kwok.

We’re the team leaders of the Chinese Ministries Team of CBM. We oversee the work in Germany, the Golden Triangle and East Asia. On behalf of our team and CBM, we would like to sincerely thank you for your ongoing prayers and support through our partnership.

As we enter the third year of the pandemic, we would like to ask you to remember those who are living in countries without sufficient vaccines, pray for the health and safety of front-line workers, pastors, brothers and sisters who are trying to help families who are in need. They are the ones who may easily contract the virus. Also please pray for those living in political distress and instability.

Below, you will find some prayer items that you can use to guide your prayers this week.

May God bless you as you serve Him in this week ahead.  Thank you.

Prayer Points:

  • Myanmar is still in very difficult circumstances; conflicts continue happening in many cities. There are bombings, curfews, and fights. People are living in uncertainty and fear. The inflation rate is high. A lot of people have lost their jobs and have no income and can’t put food on the table. Please pray that God’s helping hand will be upon Myanmar through global aid and local churches. May peace be restored sooner than later.
  • Pray for those who are suffering from COVID-19, may God’s healing hand be upon those who contracted the virus. Pray for comfort and peace to those who lost their loved ones because of COVID-19.
  • Pray for more vaccines for Myanmar and Thailand, so that people may be able to receive their vaccination and be protected from the virus.
  • As the new year begins, pray for the Lahu Project, Pastor Duodu and his team. When they planned for all the visits to the villages in 2022, pray for their safety as they travel. May they bring more people to Christ. May the good news reach the villagers who live high and far up on the mountains.
  • Pray for our field staff and families, may God grant us good health, both physically and spiritually, pray for wisdom as we navigate this pandemic.
