Chagas in Bolivia

Chagas disease is a silent killer among the poor in Bolivia. The disease can go undetected for years as it slowly destroys internal organs, especially the heart. Chagas is transmitted by an insect that thrives in adobe walls and thatched roofs, which are often used to construct rural homes in Bolivia. Working alongside local church partners, CBM provides awareness training and workshops, medical treatment, and simple home renovations to safeguard families against the disease. Please pray that those affected by Chagas would receive the medical attention they need at an early stage. Also, please pray that prevention efforts and awareness training would be effective among high-risk communities.
