World Day Against Child Labour will be commemorated on June 12. Please join us in praying for vulnerable children around the world who are forced to work under dangerous conditions. This year’s campaign will focus on the global need to end child labour and improve the safety and health of young workers. The International Labour Organization estimates there are 152 million children (aged 5 to 17) who are engaged in child labour around the world – 73 million of these children perform work that is hazardous. Pray specifically for children displaced by war, as there is often a strong correlation between child labour and situations of conflict. Please pray that global leaders would implement effective policies to better protect children and make education a priority. We pray that every child would get to experience all the joys and benefits that a healthy childhood has to offer.
