Asia
  • Heavy floods and landslides in Wayanad, Kerala, India, have caused around 200 deaths, with hundreds believed to be trapped in landslides. Many families are missing their loved ones and struggling to identify the dead. Pray for respect for creation, for people to care for one another, and for the rescue personnel still searching for the missing. Also, pray for those facing great financial loss, as many have lost their homes and livelihoods.

Europe
  • Seventy participants will be attending the Germany-wide Coworkers’ Training Camp. Please pray that the Lord will bless the messages delivered, illuminating and influencing the lives of these leaders. Pray for Lewis, who is chairing the camp, and Felain, who will be leading a workshop. The theme of this camp is “Be a Good Disciple,” with Pastor Chris Dippenaar as the speaker. May God grant them wisdom, strength, and anointing to effectively minister to the participants.

  • At the March Chinese Gospel Ministry Forum in Germany, it was reported that many churches and fellowships are struggling to engage new students due to widespread social anxiety. This issue is partly responsible for the gap in student engagement, with many students avoiding large gatherings or choosing not to participate in student ministry. While we are grateful for a stable group of seekers in Göttingen, please pray for those interested in faith but “afraid of crowds.” These challenges are compounded by the high mobility in university cities. Even though the church’s serving manpower ratio is high, internships in other cities and cross-university course designs make it increasingly difficult for believers to “gather together.” Pray for innovative solutions and God’s intervention in overcoming these obstacles.
