The Integral Mission Initiative (IMI) project is designed to mobilize churches for integral missionary practice. The social needs around the Church are well visible in Bolivia. Therefore, the project aims to sensitize and motivate the local Church to reach their communities through word and deed. This project trains and equips pastors and engages them in one of three levels of participation. This begins with occasional seed projects aimed to support community food security, and grows into projects designed by the church and supported with some funds from OBADES. Some examples of integral mission projects designed and implemented by local churches include emergency relief for families impacted by flooding, food baskets for low-income families, and school support for low-income students.
