Project

Community Cocoa Farming

Project Overview
Cause: Poverty
Location: Democratic Republic of Congo

In remote areas of eastern DR Congo, cocoa farming has the potential to provide stable income and long-term sustainability for rural communities. This project, in partnership with the Communauté Baptiste au Centre de l’Afrique (CBCA), supports small-scale farmers with training, tools, and cooperative support to grow and market high-quality cocoa.

Your participation helps farming families improve their crops, access fairer markets, and build stronger local economies. Through this initiative, cocoa becomes more than a cash crop, it becomes a tool for transformation.

Your gift helps provide:
– Training in cocoa cultivation and farm management
– Start-up tools and seedlings for new farmers
– Support to form cooperatives and connect with markets
– Pathways to greater income and community development

Your gift helps provide:
– Training and skill development
– Improved livelihoods for families
– Support for sustainable agriculture
