Currently, farmers in this area of DR experience long periods of severe weather be it drought or severe rain. These changes in weather patterns have served as a warning that farmers need to change their practices.
The aim of this project is to modle regenerative agriculture practices that are more resilient to severe weather and that guarantee the organic cocoa certification. The project aims to work with next generation of farmers to make them sensitive to environmental problems and train them in resilient and sustainable agriculture practices.
