Choti’s Story
In this “Kids Care Welcome to My Neighbourhood in India” lesson through the story of Joseph, children will learn that God is in control and his timing is always perfect – he never forgets his people, even though we sometimes have to wait! Joseph found himself in a pit and in slavery, but God gave him a powerful way out and used him for great things. Children will then meet Choti and consider her chance for a new life in God’s timing, despite facing a big challenge for children in India: being a victim of child labour.

Welcome to my Neighbourhood in India
Join us as we travel to India for a five-day adventure called Welcome to My Neighbourhood. We’ll see what life is like for Grandma Pochamma, Choti, Nagaraju and the Jyothi women, who face some big obstacles – poverty, child labour, living with HIV. We’ll learn how they are overcoming those obstacles with God’s help and your help through CBM’s relief and community development work.
