Byron serves as National Field Staff with CBM’s Latin America and Caribbean team. He supports CBM’s shared objectives of integral mission with our partners and facilitates SENT trips in Guatemala and El Salvador. Byron’s contributions help to nurture strong CBM partner relationships which encompass capacity building, developing project proposals, and assisting with effective program management.
For the last 15 years, Byron has been training pastors and churches in Guatemala to have a better understanding of the gospel of Jesus. Since 2017, he has been a church and community coach for ENLACE, responsible for training pastors, church leaders, and members towards community transformation. Byron is a graduate of Central Florida Community College and Seminario Teologico Centro America (SETECA) and has also studied industrial engineering. He is currently completing a Doctor of Ministry (Theology in Culture).
Byron and his wife, Irma Yolanda, live in San Miguel Petapa, Guatemala with their 3 children, Pablo, Raquel, and Diego David.
