Greetings from Lebanon. My name is Joe Bridi, and I serve as a National Field Staff working with our partners in the MENA region. The education system in Lebanon continues to face increasing challenges. In a country suffering from uncontrollable inflation, budgets are exploding, forcing private schools to increase tuition. It is making them more and more unaffordable to most families.
Hello and warm greetings from Bolivia, even though it's winter on this side of the continent! I am Patty Nacho, and I serve in Bolivia as a Program Officer for Latin America.
Hello friends, we’re Tim and Kallie Hutton, Global field staff with CBM in Bolivia. As we minister alongside our Bolivian partners, we are so grateful for our Canadian partners. Your prayers have supported and encouraged us through all of our ups and downs.
Dear brothers and sisters: I am Lilian, and I serve in Thailand. I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to join us in praying for our ministries.
We live in challenging times. The poor and vulnerable find life most difficult. The biggest challenge in the world today is food and food insecurity. It is increasingly becoming a humanitarian crisis.
I am Emad Botros. I serve as a Global Field Staff, teaching here at the Arab Baptist Theological Seminary in Beirut with Almess, my wife, who is serving as a Tutor in the Certificate Program in the same Seminary.
Hello friends, I’m Jonathan Wilson, and I am the senior consultant for Theological Integration with CBM. I work with all of our partners to help us ground what we do in our theological convictions about God’s work in the world – that it embraces all creation, that it embraces every relationship – with God, with other humans, and the larger creation. Thank you very much for being a partner in prayer. God be with you.
This will be the 5th year that Jan 24 is recognized as the International Day of Education. Globally, over 250 million children and youth are not in school, and 617 million cannot read and do basic math.
Hello friends, I am Adrian Gardner, Director of Canadian Partnerships with CBM. As we begin this new year I am thankful for the faithful support of each of you as you uphold CBM’s ministry, staff, and partners in prayer.
