Hello friends, we’re Tim and Kallie Hutton, Global field staff with CBM in Bolivia. As we minister alongside our Bolivian partners, we are so grateful for our Canadian partners. Your prayers have supported and encouraged us through all of our ups and downs.
So far 2023 has offered us a warm welcome. As summer vacation in Bolivia comes to an end, ministry is starting up. Though it seems that for us, life rarely slows down; our last season was filled with activity.

Hello friends, We’re Tim and Kallie Hutton, Global Field Staff with CBM in Bolivia. The more time we spend serving on the field, the more we recognize our need for prayer. We are encouraged and comforted knowing that so many people and churches in Canada praying for our ministry.
The Huttons serve alongside CBM’s partners, the Bolivian Baptist Union (UBB) and its development arm OBADES, to build and support effective ministries. These include caring for vulnerable children and women, promoting local economic development, health care initiatives, food security, and responsible environmental practices.
As we reflect on the past year, we are so grateful for your faithful prayer support as we and our partners endured both difficult times and great joys. Your continued prayers bring us hope as we head into a new year of ministry.
It is hard to believe that December is here already. The Christmas season is a time of waiting in eager expectation, followed by joy and celebration when our hope in Christ is realized. For us, this period of waiting has defined our past year.
The Beekeeping and Small-scale Farming project addresses food security issues among the rural poor in Bolivia. The project provides new skills and supplies for families to grow orchards, plant kitchen gardens and raise small animals. It also provides beehives to families and teaches them how to produce honey for consumption and marketing.
While leaves change colour in Canada, spring has sprung in Bolivia. The days and nights are getting warmer, and the Jacaranda trees are bursting with purple flowers! As the seasons shift, we reflect with gratefulness on the past months and all that God has done in our lives and ministry.
The Chagas project seeks to bring attention and intervention to a preventable disease affecting the rural poor and improve food security by providing new skills and supplies for families to produce in orchards, raise small animals, and produce honey for consumption and marketing. Support this project through financial contributions and prayer.
