Recently, I was reading the book of the prophet Habakkuk and was surprised to find this sentence in the midst of the prophet's gloomy announcements of judgment and pleading words: “... but the righteous shall live by his faith.” (Habakkuk 2:4b)
Sometimes we underestimate our strength and possibilities because we underestimate the Lord. “[T]hey who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” (Isa 40:31)

Hello, my name is Philipp Fröhlich. Together with my wife Xiaodan, I serve in the university town of Marburg in Germany. I invite you to pray with us for the ministry among Chinese in Germany.
Living with students, practicing discipleship and evangelizing at the same time – that’s what we do! Jesus invites people to share in his life and to live together with him. In our work with Chinese students, there are many such opportunities to share life with people, to be a role model, and to bear witness to God.
Dear Lord, We thank you for your eternal faithfulness to us. It is you who created us, who drew us to yourself in your love, who is our eternal hope.
With the opportunity to receive free, quality education in Germany, many students from Asia make Germany their temporary home, though the transition can often be isolating and alienating. Many students encounter the gospel there for the first time, finding community and hope away from home.
Dear Lord, we thank you for your faithfulness towards us. Your love and grace never ends.
