Our Heavenly Father,

We thank you for your goodness, mercy, care and love for us as a family during this difficult time. Our Lord, we are grateful for the opportunity to be able to serve your church in the Middle East, while in Lebanon.

Almess praying for Lebanon: Lord, I have personally experienced your Sovereignty over all events and I know you are in control. You Almighty God, who I can call Father, have delivered me when I lived through many wares and passed through many hard circumstances. I have learned that “though the fig tree does not bud, and there are no grapes in the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Saviour. The sovereign Lord is my strength, He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, He enables me to go in high places”. So, we ask you, our Father, to breathe new life and bring new light to the country of Lebanon.

Nathaniel praying for the kids: Lord, I ask you to help the children in need of help and for them to get medical care if they need it. And for the parents who need money to feed their kids. I ask you to help the kids who can’t afford to wash their hands and to protect them from the Coronavirus. Father, help those who cannot stay entertained at home. Give them joy and help them to be creative.

Timothy praying for graduates: God we pray for those students who will be returning to their home country during this difficult time. We ask you to protect those students from any disappointment, protect them physically and emotionally, and help them to put their trust in you and to believe that they can overcome those difficult times and be more fruitful in their life and ministry. Lord, we ask you to send your Holy Spirit to minister to those students, and to guide them as they seek direction for the next phase of their lives.

Emad praying for the seminary: Lord, as our seminary is moving into a new phase to serve the church in the Middle East, we ask for your guidance and wisdom as the leadership of our seminary make decisions. Help us, oh Lord, to bring glory to you through our ministry as a seminary to your church in our region. We pray for reconciliation in this part of the world. It is your desire to see people and communities reconciled with you and with each other. We ask you God to restore and heal our broken, corrupted, and unsettled communities.

We pray all of this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Botroses.
