CBM’s Executive Director Terry Smith and Associate Executive Director Jennifer Lau give updates on how the CBM family is faring during these unprecedented times amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
One highlight was about Field Staff Lewis and Felain Lam, who work among Chinese graduate students in German universities. Terry shares with us an update from the Lams, and how they are remaining steadfast – looking to other ways to share the gospel such as online meetings.
Given the chance to be repatriated back to Canada, they said, “To us as Christians, we know that our life is in God’s hands and we have the assurance of salvation in Jesus Christ. Therefore, in these critical moments we decided to stay with our congregation in Germany.” What dedication to God’s ministry!
