Greetings in Christ’s name.  I am Suraj Komaravalli and I serve as CBM’s Team Leader in India.  I develop Integral Mission strategies in the eight states of India – Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal, Assam, Mizoram and Nagaland. I also seek to shape a more contemporary and contextual approach to church-based transformational ministry in India.

Our partners have been busy implementing their projects. I thank God that he has provided our team and our partners with wisdom, strength and protection as we continue to minister to the region through word and deed. As we look forward to working with new partners in 2023, I invite you to pray for our upcoming projects:

• aiding victims of human trafficking in Dimapur, Nagaland
• addressing unemployment of Youth in Chuchuyimlang village in Mokokchung District, Nagaland
• Empowerment of Ao Widows through Income generating programs in Mokokchung District.

Pray for the forthcoming Integral Mission workshops among the Kui Baptists and Chuchuyimlang Baptists.  Pray for the ongoing projects in India as they serve people by empowering and transforming their lives.  Pray for SBCMS, ECM and UBCA as they prepare to run their ongoing projects on their own from 2023 with the support of sustainable income-generating programs set up by CBM.

Please pray:

• Pray for our prospective new partner, Chumukedima Baptist Church, Dimapur, as they are undertaking a survey and analysis to initiate a project with CBM from 2023 on victims of human trafficking in Dimapur. Pray that this project will bring hope and freedom to these women who are living in fear and shame.
• Pray for our potential new partner from 2023, Chuchuyimlang Baptist Church, Mokokchung District, as they seek to address and empower youth through sports. Pray that this project will improve livelihoods.
• Pray for Alempang Baptist Church, as they start a new project from 2023 on “Empowerment of Ao tribe Widows” while inviting beneficiaries from mainly rural Baptist Churches in Mokokchung District to learn new skills that will help them provide for themselves and their children.
• Pray for the Integral Mission workshops that will take place between August – October 2022 with Kui Baptist Association, Odisha and Chuchuyimlang Baptist Church, Nagaland, that through the Integral Mission approach they could meaningfully address brokenness and its consequences in their areas.
• Pray for SBCMS, UBCA and ECM as they run their ongoing projects from 2023 on their own with the income generated from sustainability projects like Goat rearing; Sheep rearing; and Buffalo and Chicken rearing. We praise God and celebrate our partners who are becoming sustainable and self-reliant.
