WEEK OF JANUARY 9TH

• Africa Team – In particular, pray for our colleague Laura Muema (Program and SENT Coordinator, Africa Area), who lost her father a few weeks ago. Pray for support as she makes arrangements for her mother, who lives alone.
• Chinese Ministries Team – Pray for the ministry in East Asia. May God open up doors for us in 2024.
• MENA Region Team – Please pray for Ron Albinet (SENT 365), who will teach a hermeneutics course in Izmir (ancient Smyrna). May the Lord prepare each participant, and may those who participate grow in understanding and walk with the Lord. Also, pray for a strong sense of the Holy Spirit during their time together.

WEEK OF JANUARY 16TH

• Chinese Ministries Team – Pray for the Germany Team. May God guide and help them discern the needs of the church in 2024. May all the plans be pleasing to God and bring more people to Christ.
• India Team – We need to pray for God’s mercy so that those most vulnerable can experience economic justice. Pray that the church receives grace to care for the weak, the discriminated, and the marginalized—such as the homeless, the immigrants, the elderly, the orphans, the outcasts, and the poor.
• Pray for all our international partners starting a new project year. In particular, the Creation Care projects in 2024. This is a new area of work for CBM and many of our partners, so pray that they will have wisdom and encouragement as they begin.
• Africa Team – Pray for provision, good health and safety for the staff and their families in Africa.

WEEK OF JANUARY 23RD

• MENA Region Team – Please pray for the thousands of families displaced from the south of Lebanon by cross-border airstrikes. CBM is partnering with local churches to provide food, mattresses, and blankets to displaced individuals across Lebanon. Pray for the work of Thimar/ABTS as they continue their operation despite the volatility.
• Chinese Ministries Team – Pray for our team members and their families, may God grant them good health both physically and spiritually.
• Africa Team – Pray that our partner churches in Africa would have more spirit of collaboration.
• Chinese Ministries Team – Pray for the Golden Triangle, especially for Myanmar. The ongoing civil war across the country is making life more difficult for the people. May God bring peace to the country and the local churches.

WEEK OF JANUARY 30TH

• Latin America Team – Please pray for the Hundreds of thousands of migrants and asylum seekers who pass through Guatemala every year as they make their way through Central America to the southern border of the United States. May there be peace with the broader relations, and may God provide the needs of the families affected.
• Pray for regions of the world facing ongoing conflict (Ukraine, DR Congo, Sudan, Israel/Palestine, Myanmar and others).
• Africa Team – Peace, safety and security in the region of Africa.
• MENA Region Team – Please pray for Sudan and our partners there. The war has moved to the city of Wad Madani, where more than 1.500.000 have taken refuge since the start of the war in Khartoum last April. Pray for peace and the Church in Sudan as it tries to help those hurting and in need with the scarce resources they have. Pray for protection, wisdom, and courage for CBM’s partner churches there.
