Hello my friends around the world, my name is Byron Velasquez.

I serve in the country of Guatemala, supporting our partners in different areas so that they continue to impact their communities with the Gospel of Jesus. Today I want to thank you for all your prayers and support for CBM, because they are very important to us in the field.  The pandemic has calmed down and many things are back to normal. I want to share some prayer requests for you to continue praying for us:

Please pray:

• Pray for pastors of our partner churches and their families, for health, for provision and for the local churches.
• Pray for our pastoring program that we started this year. We praise God that it is growing and more pastors and joining this movement.
• Pray for the SENT teams from Canada that will be coming in 2023. We are already preparing everything to welcome them and serve with them in Guatemala and El Salvador.
• Pray for our new partner in Guatemala. May God guide us in this process of accompanying them in God’s mission.
• Pray for Kathryn Scott as she joins the field team in Guatemala this month. Pray that she will adjust well and learn the new language quickly.
