The Beekeeping and Small-scale Farming project addresses food security issues among the rural poor in Bolivia. The project provides new skills and supplies for families to grow orchards, plant kitchen gardens and raise small animals. It also provides beehives to families and teaches them how to produce honey for consumption and marketing.
In partnership with IBAREDO, CBM supports the ministerial development of pastors in rural and impoverished urban communities of the Dominican Republic. The project offers pastors regular meetings, mentorship, and essential resources to develop Christian leadership. Support this project with financial contributions and prayer.

We continue to work from home, connecting regularly with the 10 partner organizations and denomination in the 5 countries where CBM has partners in our region. Like all of you, we have adapted to Covid-19 imposed restrictions, and are getting tired of it.
With an estimated population of 16.3 million, Guatemala is the most populous nation in Central America. The country struggles with high levels of infant, child and maternal mortality, illiteracy, and other health and development issues. Religion in Guatemala is a complex mix of traditional Mayan spirituality in particularly in the highlands, along with Catholicism and Evangelical Christianity.
El Salvador has had a long history of war, inequity, and injustice. Civil unrest, crime, gang violence, and poverty are factors that contribute to widespread migration of those fleeing the country. While agricultural production represents 10-11% of the GDP, it only employs 20% of the labour force.
Sharing a border with Haiti, children and adults cross regularly in search of work and stability, creating one of the world’s fastest-growing economies. However, conditions of severe drought, and lack of education and employment opportunities places children particularly at risk.
