Global Christmas Giving 2025

Make a difference this Christmas
Make a difference this Christmas
For Your Global Family!

This Christmas, we invite your church to join Canadian Baptist Ministries (CBM) in sharing God’s love and hope with our global family through our Church Christmas Campaign.

Your church can choose how you want to support CBM’s global work – through a specific project, a Global Staff you’re connected with, a region, or Where Most Needed. Every gift, big or small, helps bring hope and healing to communities around the world. If you’re not sure what to choose, this year’s Hopeful Gifts for Change gift catalogue includes suggestions for group gifts.

To make participation simple, we’ve prepared several resources for your congregation, which can be accessed below. These include an invitation video to share with your church, advent candle readings, kids’ curriculum, and 2 sets of ornaments. The CBM set helps your church reflect on the global work you share with CBM, while the Donor set provides a tangible way to celebrate every gift—whether displayed on your tree, giving garland, or another creative display.

Our hope is that you’ll find ways to incorporate these resources into your Advent services to highlight how the work we do together impacts our global family.

Thank you for the many ways you already serve your community. We would be delighted to partner with you this Christmas to extend that same care to our global family.

With Gratitude
CBM’s Church Engagement Team

Shared Hopeful Gifts harness the power of togetherness, increasing our collective impact. Your congregation can choose a gift that will support the global Church and help bring hope and healing through the gospel. We’ve also suggested some ideas for how you might partner in your neighbourhood to make a difference locally. This Christmas,

let’s make an impact together!
RESOURCES
for your church!

To help you promote your Shared Hopeful Gift project with your church, we’ve created several resources. Each project has a video, a promotional slide, and a bulletin insert that shares the story of hope of one of our project participants. Additionally, there is a download for donor ornaments that you can use with your church to display on a tree or wall as a visible representation of participation. Finally, for those who may be donating as a gift for a loved one, there is a downloadable Christmas card that they can print and send.

You can find the full suite of resources on the project pages linked below.
CBM Donor Ornaments

A fun way for your church to visually show participation in Shared Hopeful Gifts is through the donor ornaments! Download the file, cut them out, have participants write their name on an ornament once they’ve donated, and hang them on a tree in your church.

Giving ideas

This Christmas, we’d love for your church to give through CBM’s Where Most Needed fund. Your support allows us to respond quickly to urgent needs and strengthen local churches worldwide. If your church would prefer to support a specific project, staff member, region, or choose from the Hopeful Gifts for Change catalogue, we’d be glad to help you direct your gift.
